We send out all orders via Royal Mail Recorded delivery and this means that a signature will be required upon receiving your order - this is not to be confused with Special Delivery which is a next day service. Royal Mail can incur delays for reasons totally outwith our control but if you still have not received your order after seven working days, please get in contact with us and we'll request a trace on your parcel.
Meanwhile, also check with your local delivery office to see if they have your order on hand. Royal Mail are supposed to leave you a card with instructions if they have tried to deliver and been unable to as no-one was available to sign for the package. Sometimes this happens and sometimes, not. They will only keep your package on hand for seven days after which it is returned to us. It's worth checking.
After 15 days, Royal Mail will classify the package as lost and we can claim Royal Mail for compensation. We will either refund or replace your order, which ever you prefer.
Royal Mail report a 98% success rate with Recorded Delivery and over the past five years we've found their track record to be pretty good but sometimes, things can go wrong and it's as frustrating for us as it is for you. Thankfully, it is a rare occurance though.
So if your order hasn't yet turned up, please assume that it has indeed been despatched, we try to get orders out of here as fast as humanly possible as we do not like backlogs and we'll work into the wee hours if necessary to clear them. But if you are concerned, please drop us a line to; onlineteam(AT)fakebake.co.uk and we'll do our best to resolve the issue.
